Kindergarten
We are pleased to welcome you to Lutheran Ormeau Rivers District School’s Kindergarten. We are at the very foundation of the LORDS motto of ‘Growing Side by Side’. At Lords we want children to experience growth through play, encounters with nature, laughter, character building and through the many facets of experiences in learning. These challenges and adventures will form the basis on which leadership, opportunities, respect, diligence and service will grow during the schooling years. Kindergarten is your child’s first step into formal education and we plan to ensure it is an enjoyable and rewarding year.
Junior School
Our Junior School includes Prep to Year 6 and offers a variety of learning experiences and programs to enhance each child’s spiritual, academic, social, emotional and physical development.
Our Prep program includes:
- Building upon the cultural and social experiences from home, kindergarten and the community
- Growing a foundational understanding of literacy and numeracy and other essential skills which are further developed throughout the Junior School
- A stimulating learning environment which helps to develop a love of learning.
Secondary School
Our Secondary School comprises of both a Middle School (Years 7 to 9) and Senior School (Years 10 to 12). This is to provide students with an environment and approach to learning that is well suited to the different stages of secondary education.
