We are pleased to welcome you to Lutheran Ormeau River’s District School’s Kindergarten. We are at the very foundation of the LORDS motto of ‘Growing Side by Side’. Here we want the children to experience growth through play, nature, laughter, character building, and through the many facets of experiences in learning. These challenges and adventures support the basis on which leadership, opportunities, respect, diligence, and knowledge will grow during the schooling years. Kindergarten is your child’s first step into formal education and we plan to ensure it is an enjoyable and rewarding year.

Our youngest students are able to start their LORDS journey with LORDS Little Wonders. Our kindergarten program is offered through a Pre-Prep program within the beautiful secure setting of nurturing environments. The children have the opportunity to grow and learn in natural and nurturing indoor and spacious outdoor environments.

LORDS Little Wonders has the advantage of being a Kindergarten service with the service opening hours between 6:30am to 6:00pm. Monday to Friday booking options are available.
Early Learning is a focus on a child’s individual social and emotional development and supporting the developing students' innate creativity and curiosity in a range of rich learning environments. Our outdoor environment is to enhance opportunities for gross and fine motor skills and development.

Our Kindergarten also includes Lutheran faith by teaching our children about the core values. Through prayer and community involvement of local congregations. A large component of which we cherish as a valuable part of our service.

Participation in the quality early learning education program is delivered by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher alongside an experienced and qualified team of Educators. Their priority is to deliver a smooth transition into the Prep environment next door.

Our Team of qualified educators has many years of experience, Our Service Leader Early Childhood Trained, Jacinta Turner, and Early Childhood Teacher Stephanie Francis. Working alongside four wonderful and knowledgeable Educators. We are a well-equipped team that has the practical knowledge to support your children with confidence in themselves to be capable lifelong learners.
