We are offering an exciting Tutor opportunity to be part of our growing school. Applications for the position of Instrument Tutor - Woodwind to commence in Term 1 2026 are now invited for a passionate, innovative, and dedicated Music enthusiast, who is committed to quality Christian Education, in a pastoral and nurturing community.

About the position:
This is a part-time position offering a minimum of 2.5 Hours per week in-class tutoring and is ideally suited to someone studying in the field of Music, with a passion for Woodwind.

The role will entail the following:
• Teaching instrumental skills
• Co-ordinating lessons as lead woodwind tutor
• Developing and growing a program to engage students
• Preparing an end-of-semester showcase for parents
• Promoting the program to younger grades through in-class performances
• Work with the Performing Arts team to develop a concert band for Year 7 and above

There is an opportunity to teach individual lessons at LORDS to increase hours. These sessions are paid directly by the parents but supported by the school during regular school hours. The number of hours will be dependent on the tutor's availability and ability to promote woodwind instruments within the school.

Relevant skills and experience
• Working with children check (Blue Card)
• Multi-instrumental teaching (Woodwind a priority)
• Graduate and/or Post Graduate qualifications relevant to the position
